Responsibilities

The Keyholder works closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager as a member of the management team. He/She provides support in all aspects of store operations, visual merchandising and customer service. Keyholders lead by example and demonstrate strength in driving sales through excellent customer service. Partnering with the management team, this role will assist in recruiting, training and developing the sales staff. Responsibilities include enforcing established policies and procedures and assuming the role of the Assistant Store Manager in his/her absence.

 

Sales:

  • Consistently meet established sales goals
  • Assist in the tracking, monitoring, and communication of business results
  • Coach on associate selling techniques to maximize sales
  • Ensure all sales related policies and procedures are maintained
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise, and develop product knowledge among sales team
  • Possess a passion for the fashion industry and knowledge of market trends
  • Responsible for maintaining high sales performance during sales floor segments

Customer Service: 

  • Ensure all associates provide the highest level of customer service, leading by example
  • Build and maintain repeat clientele by utilizing personal client book and assisting staff with utilizing their client books
  • Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively

Operations: 

  • Assist in the maintenance of loss prevention, security, store cash controls, bank deposits, and inventory management
  • Assist with staff training in all areas of appropriate point of sale policies and procedures
  • Perform and supervise proper execution of all management register functions
  • Support annual inventory and full cycle counts

 Merchandising/Visual: 

  • Assist with all merchandising/ visual directives
  • Ensure the selling floor is neat, clean, fully stocked and organized reflecting brand standards at all times
  • Identify and communicate product and inventory needs in a timely manner
  • Ensure deliveries are properly processed in a timely manner

 

Human Resources: 

  • Support and provide follow-up for all corporate initiated training programs
  • Ensure presentation & wardrobe standards are professional, reflective of the brand image and adhered to at all times

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of specialty retail management experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in the development of sales team
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Self-motivated team player with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Open availability to work some nights, weekends, holidays and special projects outside of normal business hours
  • Highly customer service oriented, results driven, goal oriented
