It delivers the most innovation, comfort and fit at great prices and is made by the global shapewear leader, SPANX.  We are looking to hire a dedicated business leader to support the brand growth, consumer passion and business strategies for the Kohl’s account.



Drive sales and build brand awareness by using strategic and conceptual selling practices coupled with category management knowledge and marketing savvy. The position will direclty oversee day-to-day management of the domestic, Canadian and on-line businesses at KOHL’S. The Account Manager will develop and execute the annual strategic plan and work cross-functionally within the organization (Finance, Marketing, Product Development, Planning, and Production) to gain market share and brand leadership by:

  • Meet annual revenue objectives, gross margin plans while managing marketing budgets along with overall responsibility for the customer P&L
  • Provide optimal customer service and manage customer relationships at the Divisional Merchandising Manager and Buyer levels
  • Provide leadership and expertise to positively impact business decisions and build trust throughout the Spanx and customer organizations
  • Partner with Demand Planning and Marketing teams to develop and execute seasonal plans
  • Utilize analytical and problem sovling skills to develop selling opportuinties pre, post and in-season
  • Lead cross functional teams to ensure new product launches/programs are executed flawlessly and on time
  • Summarize, review and distribute weekly retail sales recaps, identifying trends and opportunities for incremental sales
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth by analyzing accounts on a door level and making recommendations for personalized assortment and promotional plans
  • Review weekly orders by customer v. monthly RE – identify areas not meeting plan and work with customer to resolve
  • Track all advertising styles to ensure on time deliver in stores for ad drops
  • Manage and follow up on RTV and markdown processes once approved by Senior Management.
  • Maintain accounts monthly reports such as stock and sales and activation/promotional calendar
  • Partner with finance team to update and assist in maintaining accurate P&L’s each month
  • Own monthly customer forecasting process – reforecasting based upon previous trend, customer forecasts, and future expectations
  • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure we realize all replenishment and overall product assortments opportunities/risks

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • MINIMUM 7 years sales, category management, and/or brand management experience within the mass merchandising, department store, apparel or cosmetic industry
  • Experience leading a national or large regional customer team
  • Strategic Planning and Sales experience
  • Excellent facilitative skills to lead and/or direct cross-functional departments in execution of account programs and daily sales support activities
  • Advanced analytical, planning, organizational, interpersonal and PC skills (Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, inventory/replenishment software)
  • Preferred Experience:  Account Management expertise (assortment planning, forecasting, consumer knowledge) with a Major Apparel,  National Brand, and Consumer Products Company
