Responsibilities

Purpose:

The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for companywide inventory transactions, reconciliations and systematic movements of inventory.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review and Analyze daily/weekly inventory transactions and manage exceptions of unaccounted transactions within Spanx inventory
  • Support the preparation and analysis of weekly reporting for inventory control as well as Month end Inventory reporting for internal customers, including Accounting and Finance
  • Develop, maintain, and evaluate queries and reports from the ERP to support inventory control activity and reporting
  • Interface with 3rd Party warehouses to maintain inventory sync between Spanx ERP and warehouses on a daily basis
  • Develop deep understanding of warehouse inventory management practices and help ensure that best practices are being followed across all 3rd Party warehouse partners
  • Collaborate with IT to ensure all inventory file transactions are properly received in a timely manner and trouble shoot all failed files and be able to trouble shoot and resolve inventory file failures
  • Make inventory adjustments/transfers between Virtual locations in the Spanx ERP as required
  • Ad hoc analysis of company inventory position and strategy formulation as needed
  • Develop new tools and explore applications as well as ad hoc and refreshable reports to help with root cause analysis or to stream line related processes
  • Generate forecast on a weekly/monthly level to account for inventory transactions for each warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years Inventory Management Experience
  • BA/BS in related field
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Analytical and self-starter
  • Attention to Detail/ Follow Through
