Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting
    • Produce and present standardized monthly financial reporting package for departmental and executive reviews
    • Prepare monthly transaction level reporting for finance team analysis
    • Manage and maintain financial reporting hierarchies and templates in Management Reporter system
    • Compile and summarize companywide dashboard KPI metrics monthly
  • Financial Analysis
    • Support finance team with monthly financial variance reporting and analysis
    • Audit monthly financial reports for accuracy by segment and department
    • Oversee operational expense tracking, reporting, and forecasting for tax, legal, accounting, finance, and planning departments
      • Work directly with these departments to research and resolve budget inquiries
      • Perform periodic ad-hoc ROI analysis to inform decision-making
    • Review vendor, customer, and competitor financial statements quarterly, compile findings into an Executive Summary, identifying industry trends for internal benchmarking
  • Budgeting
    • Develop and distribute standard departmental budget templates annually
    • Own companywide annual budget upload and in year budget amendments
  • Ad Hoc
    • Identify and implement ongoing process improvements.
    • Produce ad hoc reports for finance team and management as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2 years relevant experience in corporate finance or related field.
  • Analytical thinker with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems in a challenging, fast paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, and proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
    • Microsoft Dynamics SL and Management Reporter experience a plus.
    • Tableau experience a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong systems acumen
