Responsibilities

Regional Sales Manager

 

The RSM positions’ main objectives are to build relationships and drive sell through within their assigned region and accounts. In partnership with the National Account Director, the Regional Sales Manager will work closely with store management and associates to elevate the Spanx brand within their assigned region. These objectives and the following responsibilities will result in achieving the company goals set for sell-through within their door/account responsibility.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve a double digit increase in their assigned doors that fall into the “Top 100” company strategy.
  • Manage the relationships within their assigned retail doors as directed by the National Account Director.
  • Maintain a 30/45/60 day call cycle as mutually determined with their National Account Director to ensure/inforce:
    • Driving Sales
    • Store Relationships – communicate all current and ongoing initiatives of the Spanx business model pertaining to but not limited to the accounts’ corporate strategy and individual door strategy.
    • Gather and communicate feedback to appropriate Account Manager regarding product assortment, competitive initiatives, and visual merchandising of brand
  • Analyze weekly sales reports and effectively use the data to affect trend 
  • Personalize store assortments based on individual store demographic. Understand and communicates the customer nuances unique to the region/store to the National Account Director and Account Managers
  • Supervise orders to ensure proper delivery and proper merchandising of product
  • Ensure accounts adhere to brand visual standards and implements seasonal vision enhancements
  • Direct, execute and follow up on special events at retail locations with support from Training & Marketing team
  • Plan and execute Sales Associate training in coordination with the brand’s vision
  • Execute and follow up on sales incentives to ensure the generation of incremental sales
  • Drive local marketing and PR initiatives in partnership with broader marketing team
  • Identify OHB opportunities and build cross-departmental relationships
  • Partner with Store Management to increase brand presence within that store
  • Facilitate recommendations for potential new business development and account relationships within the region

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of wholesale and/ or retail sales background and experience managing sales support staff. Established contacts with major retailers preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively
  • Possesses solid business acumen and well-versed in managing stock and sales plans
  • Microsoft, excel and power point proficient
  • Excellent communication and follow-through skills
  • Dynamic, energetic and passionate about selling and about the Spanx brand
  • Four-year college degree; degree in business or marketing is preferred
