Primary responsibility is driving profitable growth by planning and forecasting demand accurately. Successful candidates will balance using automated modeling tools with a collaborative business planning process.  Additional areas of focus will include strong analysis and reporting skills to recognize product trends, influence strategy and communicate performance to management.   

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for annual revenue plan and monthly demand forecast with a focus on sku accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce partners on weekly revenue projections incorporating promotions, marketing initiatives, return rates and market intelligence.
  • Manage forecast requirements and promotional pricing through automated replenishment tool.
  • Leverage corporate marketing calendar & digital marketing initiatives to supplement statistical, system generated SKU forecasts for unit sales and returns.
  • Lead monthly demand review meetings aligning Management and Ecommerce teams on consensus financial forecast.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce team to plan style commitments seasonally utilizing standard departmental tool.
  • Set style performance benchmarks (SPSPW; $/style/wk), measure and report out on success in season.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on ecommerce businesses to cross-functional teams based on business analyses, digital/ecommerce best practices, and retailer knowledge
  • Study promotions and profitability of limited time offer events, sales and coupons of online events and provide recommendations on how to improve future events that will maximize gross profit and EBIT while managing in-stock quantities
  • Create reports to monitor accuracy of forecasts and inventory available to ensure that the forecast meets acceptable variance targets
  • Collaborate with inventory manager customizing inventory requirements to ensure in stock position and attain corporate inventory goals.
  • Collaborate with finance manager and Ecommerce team on promotional pricing, product margin, and assortment edit strategies to drive profitable topline and bottom line sales.



  • 3-5 year Ecommerce demand planning experience with a focus on high-growth, digitally-driven businesses
  • 8-10 years in demand and/or merchandise planning
  • Prefer Apparel background
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Retail Buying, Demand Planning and/or Retail Replenishment systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree
