  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customers
  • Build and maintain strong, long – lasting customer relationships. Use dynamic presentation skills and strong business acumen to represent the company well - be the day to day face of the brand responsible for driving sales
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Creatively and optimistically partner on opportunities and challenges from customers ranging from product, timing, financial, marketing, ISM and sales with the end goal of strengthening relationships and growing the business
  • Actively participate in NY market week (approximately 3 per year) by leading seasonal sell-in meetings and follow up business meetings. Responsibilities include developing presentation materials including detailed sales analysis, business recaps, strategies, ideal seasonal product assortments to maximize sales productivity, product and marketing trends, potential white space opportunities, and presenting new products to Buyers and the Management teams.
  • Identify opportunities for growth with current and new customers, in current and new categories and collaborate with internal stakeholder’s/decision makers to ensure growth attainment
  • Develop seasonal marketing plans with customers and partner internally to execute, all within budget constraints
  • Hold weekly touch bases with buyers and analysts on various topics: sales, marketing needs, general state of the business, inventory levels, weekly orders versus weekly forecasts Communicate customer feedback to management/appropriate internal departments/teams
  • Review and summarize weekly retail sales recaps, identifying trends and opportunities for incremental sales. Lead the execution of those sales.
  • Develop seasonal POGs based upon merchandising strategies and driven by retail sales performance
  • Hold monthly face to face meetings with key customers – develop decks that recap retail sales performance, identifying future opportunities; discuss future season open issues and strategies; review performance-to-date against vendor plans; analyze weekly orders and how trending to receipt forecasts
  • Review weekly orders by customer v. monthly RE – identify areas not meeting plan and work with customers to resolve
  • Understand the dynamics of in-store presentations, traffic, promotional cadence, associate and consumer behavior in order to maximize business for the account
  • Own monthly customer REs – reforecasting based upon previous trend, customer forecasts, and future expectations


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MINIMUM 5+ years in apparel manufacturing selling a brand to or buying for a national retailer
  • Experience analyzing complex retail reporting including sales and margin performance, assortment planning, forecasting and inventory management
  • Advanced PC knowledge including Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Office
